All of the times I have been to Roubidoux this year the dives went pretty well. The flow was strong early in the Spring but nothing that would stop someone wanting to dive.
That said:
Do the Florida caves if possible! I dive them in a 3mil with hooded vest with no problem. Beats the crud out of Roubidoux in a drysuit. You can dive in different caves and really enjoy becoming a cave diver instead of 'getting through the class' in Missouri.
