I have a new SP MK25TA and I'm curious how people set up this first stage. Most of my diving is with AL80 tanks.

Do you mount them on the tank turret sticking up or down? I have been mounting mine turret down which forces me to have the BC mounted low on the tank. I'm wondering if I would have better luck mounting it turret up but it seems like it would be more prone to hitting me in the back of the head.

What works for you?

I mount the "turning thing up". This provide a bit more of rotation flexibility when my head with regulator in mouth turning sideway underwater.

I mount them down - well the MK20 at any rate. They way it was sold to me was less entanglement risk.
