Everything I read on hear says that the MK17 is a great cold water reg... I usually dive in colder waters (in PA), so I choose to go with this setup.

I am wondering though if this is also a good setup for warm water? (like Bonaire!)

I bought this Reg roughly a year ago. It worked great for my dives in NY/PA and Cozumel. I'm sure it will work great in Bonaire as well.

Enjoy - Tom

I've been diving a G250 for the last 15-20 years; haven't found anything better.
I dive warm water only: anything below 55°F is freezing for me.

If a reg is designed to work in Cold Water, it will work in Warm. Unfortunately not the other way around. BTW, that is a Great reg setup and we do a lot with them, you'll be very happy.

I bought the reg's 2 years ago have set for my G/F and myself. We also dive in NJ/PA (Dutch Springs) year round pretty much and regs perform excellent. We also have some S600's/MK25's and have a set of Atomic M1's and personally I Like the G250V over the S600 just feels like the delievery is a little smooter/easier. the plus as my G/F the S600 is slightly smaller but as performance goes they are about equal. The differnce being once in cold water the G250V excells over the S600 (less Likely to free flow).

Compared to the M1 The Atomic seems to deliver more Air when it's wide open but again Side by side they are about equal. But I am sure you will be very happy with the Reg's I have had them into 38F waters and even breathed them above serface which they say shouldn't do and still no issue.
