Many thanks to both of you for all of the time and effort you've put into this project!

Best wishes.

All of the packages (except for lakan's) have been mailed (yesterday, to be exact).

On the advise of the local post office worker, I wrapped the retainers in cardboard, then wrapped them in a layer of bubble wrap, then placed them in a non-padded envelope (I don't know why she suggested using a non-padded envelope, but she said that it would actually increase the level of care taken by the local PO's by not using a padded envelope. :dontknow: I figured she knew what she was talking about - this is a locally run post office and the lady is the sole worker who's been doing this for a long time.).

lakan lives in Canada, so I have to fill out a form for his. It should post tomorrow or Friday.

I got mine today, The part is perfect. The machining is outstanding. Many thanks go out to Zung and Texfrazer for the time and effort in making this all happen. Thanks

So, anyone rebuilt a reg with the part yet? Any operational data?

My 3 "beauties" arrived on 3-18-2011. I think I may have the "record" for greatest distance traveled for these lovely parts :D

Was it "somewhere in France" ----> Geneva ----> Knoxville ----> Hilo?

Now, just in case I need to curse while replacing the turret bolt, what language should I use so it understands me??? I always try to match the foul language with the country the part originated in, but in this case..... :D

Off to replace the bolt ( and no cursing anticipated ;) ).

Again, a very sincere thank you to Zung and Texfrazer for all their work on this project.

Best wishes.

LTSD mon frère, it's only 9062 miles / 14584 km, or roughly a third around the earth.
Regarding the invocation of deities, I think the most appropriate form is to reverse the path and give a fair share to each linguistic region, i. e. : "kanapapiki f*****g merde".
:D
