Hey Guys,

I've got addresses and preferred mailing style for 12 of the 17. I still need addresses for bax767, Boiler_81, Iknee, lakan and porbeagle.

Thanks!

A padded envelope is fine with me.

Thanks

Sorry for the late reply - been diving :)

Padded envelope is fine with me as well.

Thanks for making it happen.

Henrik

How are we going to show up at his door step hungry and in need of a dive?

Have reg, will dive for food?

Back to topic: the screws are here!
Look good, more later.

The good news first:

  • Workmanship: the bolts are well made, left is the original brass, right is the new stainless steel:

The last pic shows the head mated with the turret, removing a concern raised previously with regards to the last unthreaded part.
  • Test #1: sample #1: tightening with a 11/16" socket to 35 in.-lbs: OK
  • Test #2: sample #2: tightening with a 17 mm socket to 35 in.-lbs: OK

I didn't tighten past 35 in.-lbs because neither of my sockets are ground, and I'm afraid they might slip.
The weight:
  • As shipped to me, the whole package weights 454 gr / 16 oz.
  • The net weight of 51 pcs. is 268 gr. / 9.45 oz.
  • The weight of 10 pcs is 52 gr / .1834 oz, so each bolt weight 5.2 gr / .0183 oz. (that's for Tex).
A little simulation with a smaller box and bubble stuff gives 327 gr. / 11.5 oz., so I'm pretty confident I can get it under the Swiss Post's 500 gr. limit. So the shipping to the US is CHF 18.00 including insurance.

Now the bad news:
  • The "landed in Switzerland" cost, item 1 to 5 of my previous post, is 444.66 euros total. Since my PayPal account is in Swiss Francs, it converts to CHF 588.09 for 52 pcs, or CHF 11.31 ea..
  • The shipping to the US is CHF 18/51= CHF .353
  • So my part of the cost is CHF 11.66 ea
  • Texfrazer will give the additional domestic shipping

Well done, Brother. Thanks.
