Looks like I'd better start getting some pricing together for shipping them state-side.

Zung, when you get them in, could you give me the weights of both 5 and 10 of them (that way, we should eliminate some of the errors in pricing the shipping).

Woohoo!

The USPS Flat rate boxes (small) are $5 shipping if you pay online. Anywhere in the US, no weight required. The box is small, but I think you should be able to fit quite a few of these in the boxes. You just need to stop by the local post office and pick up a few.

First-Class Mail Large Envelope: $1.56 for 5 ounce. Would that be good?

Just a suggestion. How about a 4 x 7 bubble wrap envelope with up to 10 retainer in a folded and taped 5 x 8 card to keep them from busting free. Small hard things in standard envelopes may puncture the envelope as some of the USPS equipment process it. There is a slot width requirement on the bubble wrap envelope that will need to be checked but I think they would make it.

Or, once in the US, maybe small Priority Mail boxes?

More expensive, especially for just one or two bolts, but the bolts wont tear through and be "lost in the mail".

From USPS: "The Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box has a retail shipping price of $5.20 — one price, regardless of weight, up to 70 lbs. for U.S. addresses."

Best wishes.

Edit: Oooops. Parzdiver already mentioned this, my bad.

For anyone who wants a box, I'll be happy to ship them in a small flat rate box.

However, I believe that it will be cheaper if I use padded envelopes. The thing with padded envelopes is that the weight will determine the shipping cost.

I'm great either way, it's everyone else who'll have to pony up for shipping.

If anyone knows for sure the type of shipping they'd like, shoot me a PM or e-mail with your address and your shipping choice. Then I'll combine that with Zung's info to determine your total cost.

For reference, the following folks do not need to send me their address, as I already have it:

HenrickBP
Awap
Couv
Halocline
Luis
Aquaregia
oceancurrent

A padded envelope is fine with me.

Thanks
