Spent the morning at Hope Gardens, a local Botanical Gardens.
It's in a state of renovation after being rundown a bit over the past.

Not really so much flowers as tree lined walkways and such.
So here we go......

Bokeh so nice .

Morning dew..

Took a lomography approach to the following shots (high contrast and saturation and some vignetting)

Bed of green.

Catherine the fountain shot is with the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens.
I think I took that at f/1.8

There is a Nikon equivalent I believe which is better constructed, just as great optically for us$99 or so.
