Spent the morning at Hope Gardens, a local Botanical Gardens.
It's in a state of renovation after being rundown a bit over the past.

Not really so much flowers as tree lined walkways and such.
So here we go......

A plus.

You are so talented

hey...I am on Flickr. wow...over my head but so versatile! (can I be your "special friend" over there?) Some message keeps reminding me that I have "0" friends.

Your black and white has great highs and lows.

The fountain...what the crap did you shoot that with? Jam...you are going to have fun with this new toy. WHAT is it?

I love the physics revealed in water shots!

Pretty original and creative marketing
yea, some edgy little brain trusts put that site together. Even the language is a hoot.

Catherine the fountain shot is with the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens.
I think I took that at f/1.8

There is a Nikon equivalent I believe which is better constructed, just as great optically for us$99 or so.

THanks eric

wow, beautiful.

Nothin like butterfly kneecaps.

I had Monarchs in Montecito....do you have those ? (I heard they are in trouble)

Beautiful, Ken, did you shoot those at home?
