I am sorry folks, but you are gonna have to Meet n Greet without me. :(

My family has had this weekend set aside for a big get-together since Christmas, so unless I am in the hospital or in jail I am expected to be there.

Have a great time and someone eat a S'more for me.

Come to the meet and greet and we'll take care of the jail part for you ;)

Rumor has it that she was looking at buying a trailer to be able to haul all her gear.

This will be my first visit to the quarry and was wondering what the camping arrangements are there? Is it first come first serve or do you have to call ahead and reserve a spot? I plan on just pitching a tent.

Camping is first come, we will be taking over the furthest point from the office. Be sure to leave room for Ted to park the bunk house. Sites are primitive no water or electric. Some will have tents , some will be renting housing on site, the rest will have to purchase space from Ted. I will probably end up sleeping between the GTXL1200's.

I have a spare three man tent if anyone wants to use it...I won't charge rent.

I picked up a few items for post diving. Cheeses, summer sausage, DOH forgot crackers. Did remember the wine. Just add this to the long list that I already stated. I know I will come home with half this crap.

So you just sign up for camping when you arrive at registration? Is the camping just a open area? I assume there are no site markers or anything.
