Yeah I can imagine he would. that is why the thread is so inactive this year he isnt trying to line up some bunk mates like he was last year. Or what ever year it was. their all starting to run together now.

Has anyone been there lately? What is the water temp?

Couple of weeks ago it was 45F or less, and we've had the string of 20-30F days, so it's certainly not any warmer.

My vyper doesn't give me temperature in depth gradients. There's no thermocline right now, if that's what you're asking.

Yes, that's what I was asking. I know that I'm good in my wetsuit in 40 degree water, so it looks like the water temp won't be an issue. (Besides that, I need to get wet!) I'll have to see what happens between now & then before I'll know if I can make it. Hope I'll be able to see everyone there.

I think the big issue will be air temp and not water temp! It was colder last weekend here then it was on the New Years Day dive in Chicago, and I suppose elsewhere too. Things area little backwards...but I might still show up!

Yeh... good point... the weekend I went it was about 70F air temp and that felt GOOD!!
