We’re just trying to get more dives in while we’re there. Don’t particularly care about sites either. Can also do twilight/night dives.

Anyone there now and can comment on diving conditions? I saw a FB video from the Iberostar friends page and it was rough seas yesterday! Another page says navigation closed south of Palancar Beach. Wind looks up throughout the week. Does anyone know the typically wind speed or conditions they cancel diving? Windy.com has waves up to 6ft through Saturday. Sunday says 4-5ft.

We are setup to land Friday.

I dove today for the first time this trip. I’d say your Windy.com report is accurate. I’m not sure at what point the harbormaster would close the port with a SSE wind, which is the current direction. I did hear the southern reefs were closed yesterday, and I think today as well.

It’s a little sporty. Bring your DSMB.
