...So THAT explains that Wile-E-Coyote-shaped hole in the lake bottom, and that mushroom cloud of silt... Oh well, at least you didn't have cat urine all over your dive gear.

Here's a few trip photos, featuring Ted, Brian, Tom's backside, and the Pride of Michigan.

More trip photos... The first one is the bow spirit of the Col. A.B.Williams, but my camera stopped winding for some reason so that one messed up photo is the only one I have from there. The others are from the Regina.

Now mine....

I also updated the GLWC website to add outing reports.

PM me if you want to add yours.

...to Brian for setting the trip up, etc. These were my first Great Lakes wreck dives. Fantastic! The day could not have gone better.

...to everyone else for putting up with the only "nut" in the group to dive, as Gary called it, "semi-wet". Thanks for letting me tag along. I'd like to dive the Regina again and maybe the Mary Alice. Didn't get enough time on the Regina.

...to Tom the for invite. Wish I could have made it. I was just too pooped!

...to old "OneDive" for driving. ;-)

I see this is going to haunt me for a long time. I might have been semi diving BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still KNOW what a girl looks like.

...someone wants me to set something else up, let me know. I have two other dives that I would like to do and need participation to do...

One is all day with Gary at Rec and Tec. That is two dives on the Wexford and one on the Regina.

The second is in Alpena with Capt. Randy. Grecian and E.B. Allen or one of those two and the Montana or the Thew.

Deal is... I get the participation, I will do it the same way that I did this one.

I'm always interested in getting in good dives. But Alpena is a long haul for just a half day trip (7hrs from Chicago). Aim for a three day weekend extravaganza at one of the campgrounds w/ a day and a half of diving and I could make it.

Actually, that sounds like a great idea. <flips through packed calendar with furrowed brow>

Seriously, I love the idea. I hope that we can fit it in. The only issue that I have with Alpena is that some many of the wrecks are steel and not wood!
