there are quite a few in the area. One not far outside the park is J Michaels J Michael's "The Original" - Home, fresh oysters on the half shell & other ways as well as a variety of other fresh seafood. A bit longer drive there is -or was, at least- a chinese buffet in panama city that we often hit on the way home after dives. but there's all sorts in the area.

right now I've been dealing with a messed up right foot & left shoulder, for quite a while. seen the doc about the foot once, it's coming back. will see her about both next week & see what she can do.

I'd like to think that by april I'll be a bit more functional...

Wow. Left and right sides messed up and top and bottom messed up. That is a whole lot of messed up. I'll pray for you.

Prior injuries?

Food is easy. I love seafood, but I don't do raw much any more. If I'm treating I'd like to keep things to about $20 per plate.

Chinese, Mexican, seafood, BBQ, Italia, American, etc. I'm not prejudice about food. Just ask my doctor.

I have prior back injuries, but in general they don't cause me any problems. It took a few years of the gym and chiropractor to get through each one. One was a lifting injury. The other was I got knocked off a bicycle by a wide trailer of a lawn service truck. The wheel well caught my pedal and threw me into the road. It got my back and tail bone. By the grace of God I am healed.

Three weeks later in April will hopefully be a couple degrees warmer to.

what sucks is that I didn't do anything to injure them, they did it all on their own.

Though I did screw up my foot again friday evening. I was carrying a heavy box into the house when I felt it pop. With any luck thursday the doc will have some magic to apply...

Old age often fits the bill of "they did it all on their own." The doctors magic is a pain pill for really painful situations, possibly chortizone, and rest with therapy if appropriate and a hefty padded bill to pay the lawyer, insurance industry, and political machine. Otherwise he would accept $.10-$.20 on the dollar for cash service without insurance.

Of the best healing his the gentle massaging of warm salt water during a drift dive.

This weekend I'm scheduled for my share as I do five dives for my AOW. Yaaah!

shot in the shoulder. foot might be a stress fracture in my heel so nuthin' for now. go back in 2 weeks
Old age sucks, but still it remains a goal.

What was the old rock lyrics, "Faster horses, younger women, and stronger whiskey." Today it's "More cortizone, no running, and a tube of icy blue."

Okay. Hopefully we both have a few decades before that point.

I've completed my AOW dives and turned in my log book. The dives were done in Pompano Beach with Scubatyme. The wreck dive was the Ancient Mariner. Navigation and deep Hillsburough Reef. The deep dive was Capt Dan wreck and Anglin Pier Reef was a drift dive. The viz, current, surface and temps on all dives were nice. Capt Dan was 60' plus and 72F at 100ft. Air consumption was a little high, almost up to .8cuft/min except for the drift that was point .58. My biggest problem was a face full of hair causing mask flooding on every dive. A couple of dives it was pretty bad, but I still had a great time.

I migh get a couple more deep dives with my brother diving with sharks diving out of Stuart.

I hope your foot and shoulder are better soon. I don't think you are quite ready to be thrown in the chum bucket, yet.
