I am not sure why? Other won't work, seems like it don't go down far enough to hit I think it’s called the Schrader valve on the hose.

Kind of hard to tell from the pics but it looks like the adaptors are not engaging the Schrader valve in your BC hose.
Take a look at the restrictor shown here. I have one and it works with all standard BC hoses.
