If you looking for a great no nonsense boat, I would say B&B all day. If you want a fun adventure look me up for a fun scooter dive. We don't generally focus on small things as we move too fast. We stop and look at different site that you can take your time looking around. When we do come up behind big things like Mantas or eagle rays, it's really cool following them for a while. Good luck. I think the best thing is to just enjoy yourself.

Pro diver is also good. Went with them once. Ditto to the above replies. Pro diver also leaves early as do all the boats from the Kihei boat launch. This is to avoid the almost daily trade winds that tend to pick up late morning. That way you are back at the dock usually by 10:30 ish unless doing the ed's 3 tank that gets back around 1.

We love ProDiver and have gone with them 4 years in a row. Small boat, we've only moored with them once, every other time it's a live boat drift FWIW! If you call the shop, they can 'advise' you what day they have who on the boat. We've been able to get to good sites and have long dives with them - most trips 6 divers, and the DM is there just to show you cool stuff and guide, not babysit.

The Lahaina diver boat is REALLY NICE - it never feels crowded and we've always managed to be first off, last on with them with a small advanced group (of 1-2 groups on the boat) and 60 min dives, aft deck showers and room to spread out.. skunked on first dive at Molokai, but saw two groups of hammerheads on the 2nd.

We're going to be there in August and going out with these two 1. Drift Lanai with Lahaina divers, 2. Somewhere with ProDiver. We also went out with Shaka Doug, and Scubahawk27 and had a blast with both!

I will be there in august also for 8 nights also. I plan on diving every day.

What are your dates? We're staying at the Whaler Kaanapali 12-20 and will do some shore diving as well as the Lanai Drift on Thurs 15th. Let us know if you wanna join on a shore up north?

I arrive the 14th thru the 22nd. Yes we can hook up and do a shore dive or two. I also was thinking of the Lani drift dive, maybe I can book the 15th.

I kinda planned my trip that way, cannot go without a scooter dive. We should do a dive in Tahoe while you are here ?

You know I would if I had them. But if you would like to do a dive up there I could bring tanks and whatever you need, as long as I can get away from the shop LOL
