I finally sold my house and will be on-island as of Sep 12! So it looks like I'll get to join in the OCTOBER dive day!
Also, I don't think it's just about moving less that has you needing a thicker suit -- it has to do also with your core temperature dropping. I noticed that in my two weeks in April -- to start with, I was roasting in my 3/2mm shorty -- after 2 straight weeks of diving, I was getting chilled in that same suit even before I got in the water!
