Mask leaks

I just had a student with an Atomic mask (can't remember the model) with issues. He had been having problems with it leaking in the pool so I gave him my spare Edge Max Vision Ultra mask and he had no leaks. I noticed that below the nose on the Atomic there was barely any skirt below the nose, the Edge mask had quite a bit more.

I too paid an exorbitant amount for an Aromic mask. You are correct about their being almost no skirt beneath the nose. The mask passes all proper fit requirements and yet leaks to the point of being unusable under the nose.
