Thanks for the positive feedback on the gear guys. The minimus mask is extremely low volume and the face plate is so close to the eyes that visibility is essentially unrestricted. We are seeing more and more scuba divers select this mask due to the visibility and comfort.

This mask seems like the PERFECT back up mask for Tech Divers.

If you look at the side of the mask, you can see that the strap is attached by tabs that are integrated into the mask skirt. There are no rigid buckles that protrude from the frame. Buckles that connect to the frame are more vulnerable to accidental damage.

Tech divers often want to carry a back up mask folded into a pocket. The MAKO Minimus mask can be folded very flat without stressing the buckles or risking damage to the mask.

Mask: FIT FIT FIT. Then low volume. I prefer black mask skirts rather than clear skirts as the light coming through a clear skirt does not allow my eyes to adjust to low light levels when looking into dark places.

Snorkel: I want the most basic because it has the least amount of drag through the water.
