I've seen maps and GPS data on treasurenet, but most of it's old. A public records requests to FL division of historical resources or Division of state lands (who issues leases) might yield something.

Poking around for that info might raise eyebrows.....
 
So what about the coins that wash up on the beach. I read about those from time to time where somebody finds one on the beach or near the waterline. Are they allowed to keep or does Florida want a share of those too?

Between the high water mark and the low water line is fair game in that no one has a salvage lease but you still have to declare it to the state so they can take their share, first pick for "historical value".
