Zak OHara:
Fun Diver,
What is wrong with your regs? They should be no more difficult to service than any other. Have you had them serviced by more than one store? Meaning maybe one can do it better than the other? I don't know, just reaching.

Zak, I sent you a PM. The problems I end up with are free-flowing regs, really I don't know why the local shops have so much trouble. However they aren't a common reg in my region, so that may be the issue - just insufficient experience servicing them.

Zak,

Thanks for your version of explaination. It's very much easier to understand. Since I'll be diving mostly in the tropical water and not into deep diving, I guess either a MR12 Rebel or a V16 Proton would be suffice for me.

The figures on the breathing #'s looks fanstastic. But then again, how to you translate that into the real situation? Will you actually 'feel' the difference? Guess it's difficult to explain in words (no offence dude). That's another reason why I posted in the forum, to get hands-on-experience from the user.

Anyway, thanks for your earlier explaination. It does help me to streamline the regulator to look for.

Cheers!

Regards,
Jason
