Mares Quattro + fins - stiffness?

From the various reviews I have read about the Mares Quattro + fins, they are supposed to be fairly stiff with a newer material added near the tip to give a little bit of flexibility.

I just got my Quattros and they seem pretty pliable, even the side rails feel like they have a lot of play to them (I'm comparing this to my other fins (AquaLung Express) which are made from a more rigid material in the blade)...is this normal?

I think a lot of people call the Quattro's "stiff" when they really mean, they push a lot of water... requiring a bit more effort. :wink1:
