Anyone have any experience with either of these 2 bcs? I'm looking for a travel bc and have narrowed it down to these 2. Any other recommendations for a weight integrated travel bc in the same price bracket?

Thanks

my wife has the Mares Vector Origin for 8 years now. It looks similar to the Origin sport, so I can only guess that it is the predecessor. She likes it a lot and even refused a BP/W I wanted to "talk her into". It's simple, durable construction, very light weight and reasonable price, so no mistake if you are comfortable with the conventional or "jacket style" BCD.

Cannot comment on the Cressi.

An alternative would be the Zeagle Scout, if you are into backinflate BCDs. At Scubatoys, it's just over 200$$$, and I think a very good value for lightweight travel BCD.
It also has weight integration, which the Mares does not have.

Although my wife uses "DIY weight integration":
I installed her 4 XS Scuba weight pockets. Two on the waist strap (under the side bladders), and two on the cam band at the cylinder. Works great for her, partially ditchable and very inexpensive.

if you want lightweight and low maintance for travel may i suggest the Zeagle Express Tech. this has to be the most light weight bc on the market. it is very basic and simple. add two weight pockets to the yank band, and the side pouches to the soft bc and you are ready to go.

here is a link to it on zeagles websit Express Tech Backplate - Backplate BCs - BCs - Zeagle Dive Systems

check it out

agree that's also a good option
However, in this particular case I would advice to test dive it. It's not a real backplate, but rather a plyable material, so the stability of the tank might feel different. Also I have heard people complain that the webbing slides in a way that the tank wanders upwards.

never said it was a backplate, that is the link off of zeagles page, and that is how they have it listed

not the most appropriate way to list it but hey

the waist webbing and the tank riding upwards can be solved by adding additional belt sliders and crotch strap

I've decided I like the idea of a back inflate bc. Anyone know about the cressi light jac or Mares Pegasus?
