Mares Cold Water Dry Kit for MR52 1st stage

So I have the mares Abyss 52 regulator linked here. ( Mares Abyss 52 Regulator at LeisurePro ) So my question is seeing I am a New England diver and I do some fresh water ice diving do I really need the cold water dry kit for my 1st. stage linked here ( Mares Cold Water Dry Kit for MR52 1st Stage at LeisurePro ) or is the first stage good as is out of the box. This is part of the text from leisure pro for key features.( Great Cold Water Regulator ) Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do also dive all winter long in the ocean. Yup the water is still 34f. and we are going t.morrow. Now could you please try and explain why or why I do or don't need it still a noob only 2 years wet.
