I have a newer Mares Abyss 1st and second stage.
Problem is it's a little more comnplex than the ScubaPro R190 I was using. (i think)
I've been swapping out gages, hoses etc. and upon reconnecting the hose to my 2nd stage the following occurs:
After tightening the "bolts" on the hose (there are 2) into the 2nd stage, either it free flows
or
It draws air but wont purge at all.
I find that backing off a bit on the bolts, I can get the flow and purge ok, but then the bolts holding the hose to the 2nd stage are really not more than finger tight.
Is this normal? and...are those bolts for purposes of airflow adjustmnent?
Any ideas in a hurry would be great - diving tonight!
