It took almost 2 hours to get through immigration today. We got in on a Frontier flight at 2:15. It looked like 3 planes got in ahead of us, lined up out the door.
Even so, I am glad to be here, diving starts tomorrow.
Had dinner at los otates tonight. Excellent food. Very inexpensive too! Met with Btravlin and his wife for dinner. Great people, more on the diving tomorrow, maybe I will start a new thread with a daily report. I love it here!! I think I know how to avoid immigration, Don't leave

Finally here and I'm ready for diving tomorrow. Should be a good week. Anyone want to do a Wet Wendy's meet up some time?
I was the fifth in line for immigrations. Absolutely no wait at all when my flight landed. Unfortunately I got the dreaded red light which amounted to nothing more than them opening the first zipper of my bag, seeing scuba equipment and sending me on my way.
Took the shuttle to centro, dropped of my scuba gear and walked around a bit.
Finally here and I'm ready for diving tomorrow. Should be a good week. Anyone want to do a Wet Wendy's meet up some time?

I still have a few dives left but so far it was the lone eagle ray at the end of Santa Rosa Wall the other day. It was the largest I've ever seen with a wingspan of about 8' and was just moseying along. I drifted down to about 12' above it and just cruised along with it for a good minute. I could see it looking up at me and checking me out. It then sped up and veered out into the blue and circled back around me, gave me another look and then went on it's way. Great way to end a dive!

I'll be there Saturday! Hoping to get an afternoon dive in. Anyone for dinner Sunday evening at La Choza?
