March in Cozumel 2010

Funny, Ken. The "Colecta" month is the annual, national fundraiser. 80% of the proceeds go to the local chapter, 10% to the federal disaster pool, and 10% to the state pool. Kids will be out on the street collecting, volunteers will be at the airport and cruise piers, and I'd be happy to accept (monetary) donations on behalf of the organization.

Also, I posted a thread in the Marketplace about a benefit at Hard Rock Cafe on Sat. the 26th.

Plane got to the CUN gate at 6 pm on the nose. Breezed through customs as the 1st two people off the plane, Nobody in customs, no bags (bags on plane to CZM), Kim got us a green light, ten minute wait for ADO bus, ferry was pulling in as we got our tickets, got on the 7 pm ferry, got to Aldora office before 8 pm, checked in, friends waiting for us at the Villa, Camera and dive gear ready to go. Boat will be at the Villa to pick us up at 7:30 am tomorrow.
1:45 total to get from CUN airport to Aldora's shop!!! I should have bought a lottery ticket. Dang am I tired!!!

Might it be a good idea to get a roll call together for the La Choza meeting on the 21st and the Wet Wendys meeting on the 25th? First one there could then request a table or tables for the right amount of people and tell the waiter it's the SB table. Everyone else then comes in and just asks for the SB table. Put us down as highly probable for both evenings.

Bummer!! Here's a few pix from the Norte that rolled in last Friday afternoon - taken from the 6th floor of Fiesta Americana. The winds were really wicked! Luckily it all rolled in after we did our morning dives!!

ah that's a bummer Bill, perhaps time for another one of those Cucumber margaritas!! Those were great, now I have to see if I can find it here in LA.

I'm back at work with withdrawal symptoms! Was great to meet everyone last weekend and had a great time diving, hope to make it back soon.
