Totally with ya Joe! Of course, next week I can look forward to a last minute root canal...

Sal, I was going to go with Aldoritas, but thought I might get some push back No worries, I'll have the taxi stop for ya! LOL As all the kids are coming, we decided on the Coral Princess this trip. A bit north, but it will be perfect for our needs this trip. Thought about renting a car, but I'm on vacation, I just budgeted a good extra chunk for taxis

Excellent on the taxi stop! From CP, you can board the dive boats most days here at the Villa. Just let the shop know you want to and ask them to let Brent at the Villa know. We will expect you then!

Gunga Din!? I love it! How do I embroider that on my wetsuit? LOL Actually, I AM looking forward to it, kinda. Started hurting last week, outta control at this point. I'll be drugged to the max on The Day (next Tues), so won't feel a thing...looking forward to the relief.

I was hoping I could use Aldora's pier, I think I can walk down there?

And to Kat- My first stop after dropping off my bags will be a mango margarita at this place off the square I can't remember it's name. I look forward to cocktail hour at Blue Angel and well, I have to fulfill my promise to hit Wet Wendy's, then there's the strong possibility of a late afternoon at The Money BAR....see a pattern? I don't drink a LOT (really!), but even one or two (heck, it's vacation!) is one too many to drive around an unfamiliar island in an unfamiliar car. Yep, taxis for me At least until my son get there.... LOL

Kixy .... pattern? What pattern? Too bad you can't make the rounds before the root canal ... you'd feel SO much better!
(And it always throws me when someone says the 'Money' Bar .... 1st time I drove by we thought it said 'Monkey', so it's been called the Monkey Bar ever since. lol!)

By this time next week we should be out blowing bubbles in the beautiful clear waters of Cozumel! I'm excited to get to dive with my sister again, and it's going to be great getting my wife her OW cert so she can join us. Also will be great to see some old friends and hopefully make some new ones.

I am all for relief! Good luck with the root canal; hope it all goes smoothly.

Walking down to Villa Aldora depends on how much of a walker you are. It's about a kilometer. You won't be lugging gear, except whatever you carry to the boat... And a cerveza fria under the palapa before you head back up should improve the walk home.

just back. week of great diving. Sunday was scratched due to weather, but the rest was great. 12 day dives one night dive. always 50+ ft viz. maybe more. MI diving, i'm good at estimating 3-20 ft viz... this stuff is wild. 77-78 bottom temps. Eagle rays every other dive down south. More later after I get unpacked!

we will most likely not go this early in the year again. little chilly for my tastes
the diving, people and food were all excellent
we usually do a june / july trip to long boat key fl, but we think we are just going back to coz instead
