Other than uniformity with our buddy, is there any other consideration one should have when deciding to get 300 bar or 200 bar manifold?

Taking the issue of uniformity out of the equation, any particular reason why you will choose 200 bar over 300 bar manifold or the other way round.

Thanks!!!

if you want to use only DIN regs with your valve, 300 bar is fine

however, 300 bar valves do not take 200 bar inserts (i.e. DIN to yoke converters).
thus, you won't be able to use yoke regs on a 300 bar valve.

Both will work fine.

If you are only going to use DIN regs in them get a 300 bar, in the US no one(I know of) sells 200 bar DIN male fittings (the one on the reg) because a 300 bar male fitting works fine in a 200 bar female fitting (on the tanK). One thing there is a slight gap between the valve and the reg when using a 200 bar manifold and the 300 bar DIN male fitting that could get caught up in monofilament/cave line.

I use 300 bar manifold on my three sets of doubles and the 200 bar valves on my single tanks so I can convert the use to recreational yoke if I have the need.

Thanks to all for the responses. Decided to go with the 300 bar since I am going to be using DIN regs with it only. And more importantly, for uniformity reasons.

Can't wait for my doubles to arrive so can take it for practice at the pool. Thanks again!!!

I will consider 300 Bar manifold used for Din regs
