Hahaha... He's a sweetie. He's still a bit rambunctious, but he's mellowing out, and he's probably the sweetest dog I've ever known.
This morning, my daughter bent over to take care of his water dish. Bear came galloping up and jammed his nose against her butt and knocked her down, and then started mauling her, licking her face and snuffling all around her neck and ears... She was all muddy... The more I laughed, the madder she got.

When I was in middle school, this was the normal wakeup procedure:
1: Dad gets dog real excited to see me, right outside my (closed) door.
2: Dad throws the door open, dog gallops into my room at full tilt and jumps on my bed.
3: 50lbs dog stands everywhere he shouldn't and licks me until I get out of bed.
