Yep!! Purebred... He's 17 weeks old, now. He's as big as the full-grown chocolate Lab that comes over to play with him, and he's broader around the neck and across the shoulders and chest, too. He'll top out around 120-135 lbs.

Weighed his big azz today... 52 lbs!! He was born on October 10th. He was only 27 lbs when we brought him home, a couple days after Christmas. He's a MONSTER!!! :lol:

Great Pyrenees were originally bred for guarding flocks of sheep from bears and wolves, and for guarding castles and keeps. They are very mellow, protective without being vicious, and impervious to cold and rain. Kind of the ultimate breed, I think. He'll top out around 135 lbs. He's already as tall as the full-grown chocolate Lab that comes over to play with him sometimes, and broader across the shoulders, chest, and neck. My daughter, wife, and I are all crazy about him.
