My apologies for assuming everyone is familiar about dive safari. In Cebu, practically every dive shop offers a dive safari. In a dive safari, you go from island to island, diving different spots and doing 4 - 5 dives a day. At the end of the day, you stay in a resort or pitch a tent in some remote beach and repeat the process for several days. Its a great way to hit a lot of islands in a short amount of time.

Here are some links that offers dive safaris:
http://www.savedra.com/safari.htm - You start in Moalboal and they drop you off in Mactan at the end of the safari.

http://www.sea-explorers.com/e/index.html
http://www.malapascua.net/index1.html - If you go with Exotic, you basically have to adopt a spartan lifestyle for the duration of the trip. No thank you, I admit I'm a wuss.

I hope this helps..

wow so many now im confused!
Tell us how it goes...I'm trying to put together an itinerary for my trip to the islands. I want to see if a quick trip to Cebu or Bohol is feasible. It's my first homecoming trip after 8 years. As such, my dive trips would mostly be quick getaways from family and relatives.

defintely feasible, the harder part is deciding on what safari to go for.

Checkout TSD, http://www.malapascua-diving.com/DivingPackages/PhilippinesTours.html

Call Andrea of TSD and find out if they can do a Malapascua-bohol safari or Booboy Mancao of Liquid Assets, +63-32-492-0108. On this website, http://www.wayblima.com/cebu-activities-diving.html#sss, SSS, claims they can take customers as far away as Malapascua, might be worth looking into as well.
