Bumping this thread because of a recent PM I received. I think this is a great project.

The way I made these might end up with the threaded rod unscrewing out of the cast parts. All this does is make it hard to adjust from the prior setting. I have since VASTLY improved my casting technique and can eliminate this problem if I should ever make more.

What is the latest, Tigger? I'm putting together a 109 from various DIY parts and I would enjoy sporting one of your adjustment knobs.
