Guys...

I have to tell you that I am very impressed with the commitment and service of Off-the-Wall Scuba in Middle River, MD. Ken and Barclay are awesome. I've been looking at a plate and wing setup and they actually rigged one up for me to try in the pool. They brought several regulators I was interested in, including Ken's personal regulator for me to try.

And how many LDSs have pool parties almost every week?!

These guys are new in the area, and with the commitment they show to customer service is any indication, I imagine they will be really successful. I don't feel pressured to buy everything from them...but if they carry what I want, I know they will give me a fair price, and my business will be appreciated.

As far as training, Ken and Barclay seem top notch, plus they have a lot of other great instructors.

So please patronize Off-the-Wall, because I think they really deserve our business and support. I'd love to see a customer-service oriented LDS like this thrive, especially in my neck of the woods!

Interesting. I was just reading a forum where a few of the members of SB were not so kind to Offthewall. I don't understand the reason for posting negative opinions just because someone used words that was taken as an insult. A person who is offering honest answers can't be all that bad. I know he has a shop but I think the post just addressed assistance with questions. That can't be all bad. So I want to say welcome to Offthewall.

Don't know much about these guys, I've checked out their website which looks pretty good and I like the pool parties. Can't wait to get out to one and try out some new gear I picked up. Maybe sometime in April...Lenmonster, let me know if you think you'll be heading out to another one soon!

I have a wetsuit coming in from them and I'm going to be buying a DiveRite Hurricane, too, so I'll be going to one soon, I think. I'll let you know. They do them pretty much every Saturday night.

Paul and I also spent time at the pool and Barclay and Ken were most welcoming. They and others were trying out some underwater com gear and we just wanted to get wet. No problemo. Thanks OTW

I'm heading back to the pool tomorrow, so my kid can spend some more time in the pool. He's going to get OW trained with Ken. I'm going to work on using the SeaLife camera and figure out my weighting now that I picked up a 5mm wetsuit.
