I graduated with a double major in Biology/Marine Science with a minor in Math. The math and statistics can really save you a considerable amount of time and money if you are able to compile and analyze your data your self instead of having to out source it. Agree with DrBill about the chemistry thing also. If you can tough it out it will be worth it plus if you ever wanted to get into another field a strong background in chemistry would definitely help.

Chemistry is a good choice. Salaries for Marine Biologists with a BS are not great. You may find yourself looking for a career in the environmental field, so it pays to diversify. Of course business is another option. that way you can better create your own opportunities.
