When using an external strobe in Auto mode and taking macro shots do you set both "macro" and "flash macro" or just "flash macro" - The manual didn't seem clear to me on this.

I'm not familiar with the 1000 (I have 1200), but if the macro refers to the focus and flash macro refers to the flash power, I'd think you'd need to set both. The first to get the camera to focus close, and the second to get the flash to dial down the output so it doesn't overexpose.
