Hi, technical question for Sealife.

Does changing the flash power setting on the camera affect the appropriate power selected on the external strobe? For example, if I have 5 set on the external strobe, will the external strobe less powerful in macro flash on the camera, and more powerful in infinity flash?

Doing some test pictures, it appeared to change the picture, so I wanted to ask.

Thanks!

Thanks for the question. Setting the camera to Macro or Far flash does not affect the output of the external strobe. Changing the camera modifies how the camera auto exposure will internally function.

Excellent. Thank you- that will be good to know; I've had macro pictures washed out even at minimum power, I think this will now enable me to preserve a good exposure.
