Looking for info from any of you about a fairly new Liveaboard in the Red Sea area called the "M/Y Excellence". Any info would be deeply appreciated.

Also, we are trying to decide what area of the Red Sea would be more enjoyable for us. We keep hearing about how the North is trashed, but the South is a lot of heavy current diving. We are beggining/ intermediate divers in our early 50's with about 75 dives. Although we are both in good shape, we are not into "heavy current diving" prefering wrecks and reef and lots of fish. Any suggestion of a better route.... we keep reading about "The Brothers" and "Elphinestone Reef, and St Johns Reef.
again... any info would be appreciated.

We have been the northern route twice and are now trying to book the southern route. Not because "the North is trashed", but because we wanted something different.

Frankly, the North is awesome. Great wrecks, lots of reefs, amazing sea life. Where did you "hear" about the North being "trashed"?

Anyways, here's a link to some u/w photos we took, many of which are from our trips on the northern route for the Red Sea aboard M/Y Royal Emperor:
