Lycra socks vs neoprene

Will these booties work with over the foot fins as well? Which booties are suggested?
No, a full foot fin will only fit over lycra socks. I use the same fin in both cold and warm water and just change the bootie.
 
I travel with my regular open-heel fins and use booties, which are much better on hot or sharp surfaces. I also have a neoprene socks that I really like a lot. They stretch over the foot, so they prevent chafing under almost all circumstances. Wet wool tends to bunch and sag and won't compete with neoprene for longevity.
