I obtained 3 Lunas from Scubapro last fall after sending in my older units for repair and the techs determining that they could not be saved. I purchased the upgraded units directly from Scubapro via the trade-up program for dead units and was planning to get complete units. Scubapro shipped the wrist units without the transmitters as they were backordered. They finally arrived at my local shop last week after a 3 1/2 month wait. The wrist units have worked flawlessly. However, I cannot get any of the transmitters to pair with any of the units!!

I have followed the directions in the manual numerous times. I checked via the software interface and made sure that there wasn't something else paired to the Lunas. Nothing has worked.

The transmitters shipped were Scubapro 06.203.407. The only number I have found associated with the Luna/Sol is 05.055.020. Are these the correct units for the Luna or an updated one and why won't they pair? I am leaving to head out of the country on a trip in 18 days and need them to be functional. Someone PLEASE help!

addendum: I noticed that the manual states to use a full tank. Mine currently has a fill of 1850psi. Could that be the reason for the problem? If so, what is the minimum at which it will send a pairing signal AND why isn't it in the manual???

I too have a Luna. I found it wont pair or even pick up a signal after pairing from the transmitter unless you take several breaths off the reg. If you haven't already done so, try that.

I've had a luna with transmitter for almost a year. Here's the procedure that works for me.

Turn off the gas and purge your regulator so there is no pressure in the line.

Turn on the luna.

Wait about 90 seconds

Place the luna in physical contact with the transmitter. I normally just lay the back of the computer over the transmitter.

Turn on the valve all the way.

That always does the trick for me. Hope it helps. The pairing procedure needs to be done from Off to ON on the valve. Taking a couple breaths will get the transmitter transmitting if the units are already paired, but I don't think it will start the pairing process.

It probably sounds long and drawn out, but once you do it you will probably say "oh, okay.. no big deal"
