I think I have seen something like you are asking about. Both side mount tanks go to one LP manifold on your back then the regs go out from there. There were no quick disconnects or valves of any type, it was just a hollow block that you screwed the hoses into. I forget who makes it but that seems like the simplest solution.

It looks like they are using the UTD isolation manifold (but couldn't confirm) that was talked about here a page or two back.
Seemed a lot of complexity to do the same as could be done with just a bridged hose and shut off valve. UTD places all the hosd on the manifold where a bridge keeps it all on the 1st stages so less likely hood of fail points from the sound of it. BUt why i am asking questions. :)
