Aahhhhh... my younger manatee brother...NetDoc:
This is now into 19 pages of discussion. Some excellent discussion. Real concern about a kid who is going to hurt himself and maybe others who are unfortunate enough to be around him. There is also some good practical advice. Its been offered by dozens of good divers on two different boards. None of it is going anywhere, but it going in circles and is on the verge of becoming an Internet Urban Legend (remember Sexual Chocolate?) because:
1. The kid isn't smart enough to learn, or
2. The kid isn't self discliplined enough to grow into a healthy adult, or
3. The "kid" has done a wonderful job of egging on well-meaning people.
Its time to call this one off. Its always tempting to get in one more jab, or to make one more point, or try one more time to be reasonable. But that's just part of the game isn't it? When the next insane scenario is tossed into the ring, let it go. When the "kid" gives in on some minor point, has seen the light, and tries to revive the discussion with a lot of praise from members - let it go. This isn't real anymore.
SB has some good folks and good discussion. Let's get back to that and give this thread a merciful end.
