Well, it happened :depressed:
Clipped it onto a double ender at the car and when I dropped down all I had was and empty double ender. This sucks!

The surf at Vet's took my mask last night. It's an Atomic Ultra Clear. If anyone finds one, let me know and I'll describe it further.

San Clemente Island: Full Gear Set Lost
Well, I was hoping to get back there on one of my charters, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen soon. I've tried to get there twice since the gear was lost. Both times we couldn't get to the site due to Navy bombing/gunfire support. So, I'll post it here.
LOST: Fully assembled tank, BC, reg, quick release weights. Make unknown, but was owned by a woman of about 5'4" and 130 pounds.
LOCATION: Outside Boiler. Right at the wall area wherein the plateau goes from about 50' to a sand bottom of 85 feet or more. Stunning site with lots of cracks, canyons, and large swim-through arches in the walls.
DATE LOST: March 21, 2014
Supplemental info: This is the gear set from the woman who drowned and was subsequently rescued & revived on a charter dive boat. As she was brought to the swim step of the boat her gear was stripped off and, I'm assuming, her BC was deflated to facilitate getting her gear off. (There's a thread on this rescue in the Accidents and Incidents forum here on ScubaBoard.)
Needless to say, if this gear is found and returned there would be some type of reward from the victim and a great deal of gratitude. Contact me, Bill Powers, at powerscuba1@gmail.com if you find the equipment or need more info.

Lost a yellow folding knife in the Avalon Dive Park August 12, 2014. Possibly near the floats or east of the stairs.

Lost 1 Jetfin knockoff in the surf at Crescent Bay Laguna, West side (closest to Seal Rock) Sunday 8/17/14. Marked XL, has basic spring strap looks like this. Please PM me if you find it.

Lost my DJI Phantom 2 drone with GoPro 3+Black ;( Wednesday in front of the Encina Power Station, north county San Diego, just before noon. It went in the ocean a couple hundred feet off the beach. It had a Patagonia sticker on the top and the GoPro was attached to a gimbal underneath with a polarized layer lens retaining it with a Velcro strap. The gopro is naked without a case and may detach from the gimbal and wash ashore separately. Please contact if found. Reward (760) 685-137nine I would be overjoyed just to retrieve the SIM card with footage from that day. Any leads or sightings would be greatly appreciated.
