Okay, so it's unchartered territory for me, but I just saw this documentary (from three years ago) on Discovery about the "Derbyshire Nymph"--apparently, the guy who discovered this amazing creature was granted the right to name it. Even more fascinating is the fact that up until that time it had yet to be discovered. Moreover, it looked to me like an alien creature right out of "Final Fantasy" (the movie) or "The abyss". Does it actually swim backwards ALL the time? Has anyone here in scubaland ever seen one in person?

Howdy and welcome to SB!

Does it come with a pot of gold and a clay pipe...? :lol2:

Google still doesn't seem to have anything on it, other than a discussion here on SB 3 years ago: http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=33977

Good to have you here. Click here to PM me if I can help you get started in our various forums.
