I am glad to hear you guys are okay. I heard this morning that the Rampage out of Riviera Marina was lost. The story I heard was Bob took the Rampage up the coast and then inland aways and moored her at a friend's dock. Unfortunalty, Frances found the Rampage. The Narcosis is okay. I heard Ray sailed it to the back side of the Keys and is okay. Haven't heard any thing as of yet about Jim Abernathy. I haven't heard how anyone else has faired out of Riviera Marin.
Has anyone heard how everyone faired on Singer Island?

Thanks all and take care. Hope Ivan goes north and out to sea.

Well, glad to report that access to my "side yard" is still here. The palm tree at the entrance to the beach on Hibiscus was the only casualty of Frances. My block never even lost power although we did lose phone service for a day.

Mucho, mucho thanks to Jenny & the Hermitcrab for taking me in for 2 days while Frances came & went! We had a great time of it together.

Glad to hear everyone on the east coast did ok. Over here in Tampa, I got a lot of wind, rain, and a bad case of cabin fever. So bad that I didn't have to come into work today, I could work from home if I chose, I still came in. Over here it was mainly some branches and leaves blown down. A few different places lost power (I didn't) and some minor flooding in the low laying areas.

Just wanted to check in and thank everybody for their concern and offers of shelter. I heard from BaitedStorm and MurphDiver286, and they made it through okay.

Now when can we go diving again, eh?

I am back!!!! Power went out Sat @ 9:53 and finally came back today @9:53. Go figure.
Hope everyone made it through ok. My first order of bus. is getting a generator.

Now when can we go diving again, eh?
Anytime before about next sunday/monday it looks like - will the viz even begin settling down by then?? Just to be churned up again!

Lots of rain in Homosassa, FL.

We have had 12" of rain in the last two days and it is still raining. The strongest thunderstorms have been last night and this morning.

Went about 23 hours without electricity but I was ready for that and only ran the generator for about 4 hours.

Are we ready for Ivan?
:11:

We made it! Loss of power for most of the duration, but no loss of life or property so who can complain?

Best wishes and thoughts for all. My prayers are with everybody.

Just checking in. 7+ inches of rain, lost power for 21 hours. lots of limbs down, small leak around chimney. All-in-all not bad. Lets hope Ivan doesn't try to top Frances.

Glad to here everyone checking in ok.
