I would also recommend cave adventurers.com for tech/cave oriented gear

cyberfed after you decide which tanks you probably want, you should consider borrowing or renting them. I would also suggest starting with a good used set (recent hydro, quality bands & valves) because cave tanks usually get banged-up especially by new cavers (new tanks will look like old tanks pretty quick). Divers 5'8" or taller seem to favor longer tanks (LP85, HP100, LP108, HP130) while those under 5'8" seem to favor the LP95.

You should should also know that the DOT has different requirements for LP and HP tanks, so regardless of what anyone says they are NOT made the same.

I have: (2) 72s, (7) LP85s, (2) LP108s, AL13 , AL30, AL40 ... I think the Faber LP85 is a great place to start.

Agreed, try diving them before buying. I bet if you post on cavediver forum someone will let you borrow a set for free. I REALLY like LP85's, but I can't afford 2 sets, so I went with 108's since they have the gas to get me where I like to go.

Hey folks,
I need some help, I am looking for a dive shop in the Orlando area that sells good quality low pressure steel tanks. I want to pick up two. I would consider used tanks too but they must come from a dive shop that has inspected them.
Any body know a good place to find em?
I am willing to drive out of Orlando to a neighboring city if need be.

Thanks!

Cyberfed, you should talk to TJ @ Dayo Scuba. He is a dealer for XS Scuba/Worthington Steel tanks. He can probably get you a better deal than you will get elsewhere (especially since you dive with him). I have a pair of Worthington HP 100's and they are great tanks. If you're interested, I'll let you dive with one of them if I see you one weekend (I dive with TJ often as well).
