The Guidebook is available by contacting either Abyss or Straits Scuba Dive Charters or the St. Ignace Chamber of Commerce. If you are not in the area, contact the Association President, Larry Sanders at straitsdiver@hotmail.com or 616-402-0493. He edited the Guidebook and has copies for distribution. The Guidebook is free to members of the Straits of Mackinaw Preserve Association. Dues are $25. Dues support the Association's activities to buoy the wrecks. Plans are being made to place mooring blocks adjacent to the most fragile wrecks (Sandusky, etc).

If you only want the Cedarville pictures, I believe Larry will send them to you via email if you contact him. You may also be interested in the Cedarville ship file in the Runge Collection at the Milwaukee Public Library. They have 3 thick file folders on the loss. An eerie photo of the Topdalsfjord in the fog after the loss appears in one news clipping. The entire USCG investigation (many boxes) is now in the Bowling Green State University Library repository.

Are you looking for pictures of the ship before it went down? I think I may have a book with a picture. I will look tonight when I get home. Also may have a drawing of the Cedarville as it looks on the bottom.

Kim

Sorry, could not find the book. I think my old dive buddy has it, so will not be seeing that book again.
