Sumba

Hi all going back to Bali for a couple of weeks in September but have the possibility of taking a longer trip later on. A friend of mine was talking about Sumba island that he visited a few years ago. He is primarily a surfer so sees the world a bit differently but has anyone been there / dived there?
TIA s usual guys hope you are all doing some great dives. If there is anywhere else over that way feel free to put me in the picture

Sumba is world class for surfing (truly outstanding). The diving is only okay...

If you're going that far, pick Komodo instead.
