Suggestions for last week in August?

Hi all,
I have a week of mandated time off (whole company is off) the last week of August. I'd like to go diving and am now addicted to places like Indonesia because of the fabulously healthy reefs. I love reefs, don't need giant sharks etc. Love underwater photography. I live in central U.S. Will be a solo traveler. I was looking at Fiji but Volivoli and Paradise Taveuni seem to be booked. Is there anywhere else you would recommend in the Pacific region for that time of year? I've been to Bali, Komodo, and Wakatobi and loved them. I would like to go to Raja Ampat but wrong season. If there is somewhere you would recommend closer like the Caribbean I'm open but am spoiled by the amazing healthy reefs in Indonesia. thank you in advance.

Round trip journey from US to Indonesia will eat away large chunk of one week. Is it worth it?

Give the Sea of Cortez a shot on Rocio Del Mar. The Midriff Islands itinerary is a great liveaboard experience -- if it isn't already booked up. Mexico Liveaboards - Scheduled Trips to the Midriff Islands.
Easy to get to from Colorado. It's a flight to/from Phoenix.

So with travel to and from Indonesia, what are you left with...maybe 3 diving days. Hardly seems worth it
