hello, my name is josh and i am a active duty marine, i just got back from deployment and got my open water dive cer and now im looking to buy some gear but i am not sure what gear is a good quality for descent price. if you have gear or advice please let me know. im looking for a large BCD preferably with a alternate second stage attached and intergrated weights. also im looking for a regulator and guages.

The Equipment of Scuba Diving

Check out the equipment section, there are lots of threads about what gear to choose.

before you buy gear think about what type of diving you are going to do, now and in the future.

We still have used Scubapro Glide Pro's w/AIR2 just serviced for $199.00!

I have a large.

I can add a "New" Scubapro MK17/G260. MSRP = $649.00 just for this great reg.

Your total Hot Deal would be $649 for both this excellent reg. & used B.C. including shipping.

What gauges would you like to add?

Do you want a dive computer?

I have a well cared for Oceanic Excursion size large with a newly serviced XS Air that we no longer use. It has very little wear except for scratch marks most notable on the back side of the XS Air. Let me know if interested.

Also a pair of scuffed up (Bonaire shore diving) but very functional AquaLung Sling Shots size regular (Eric wears a men's 10 1/2 shoe)

The buddy I got my OW cert with is over at Pendleton, I know he's been looking around for people to dive with. He just got stationed there this month.

I don't know the particular area on base, but yes, I believe there is (or was until recently) one on base.

scubapro rules in my books. getwetscuba in palm springs ca. is a great company to deal with. welcome to the scuba divers world. my personal preference on scubapro equipment is a mk 25 first stage g250 and r190 second stages, gorilla fins, scubapro steamer wetsuit, any mask that fits your face and a scubapro classic bcd. I have dove for almost 30 years and have never regretted buying scubapro, not once.
