High quality bungee cord

Hi all,

As many of you, I am a big user of bungee cords to customize most of my gear. I have been using for years the rolls coming from DGX. Has anybody found other sources of high quality bungee? I am specifically looking for bungee with few large inner rubber filaments – which makes them with higher stiffness than bungee with same diameter but many small rubber strands. Personally, I prefer the white bungee that I get from a marine store. It has about 4 times the stretch ability so a shorter piece can still do the job and be much easier to install at the same time.

I've used stuff from Cave Adventures which was always very high quality, but I never get up that way anymore, DGX which is pretty good but they don't always have the right sizes, and various dive shops and outdoor stores. I'm a bungee whore as well and fairly picky. So if I go into a shop or outdoor/marine store and I find bungee in a size that I like that looks quality I will grab some, leaving me with tons of extras.
I like some of the marine stuff like dsix noted. I'm lucky to have a climbing/hiking/outdoor store that's family run near me and they have tons of options too.
Long story short, I buy from tons of places because it feels like some places don't have the sizes/stretchiness I like. Other places have it but its low quality. I'd love to find the perfect bungee mecca that has it all.

What do you use these for? Diving only or for other purposes as well? What do you use them in diving for that you need this many? (or is it just a fetish? )

I don’t know if it meets your specs but I get it from Piranha, I use it for all sorts of things and have yet to have any failure

Been using them for years. Any cord you want. Bungee is under elastic. They are based in Netherlands though so dunno how will shipping to the tariffs central work. USD is listed as currency, so guess there is a way.

Tons of stuff, but I don't buy them as much or have as much as I used to now that I almost exclusively dive bm ccr. When I was diving sm, you use bungee for everything. Light attachment to you harness, holding inflators across your chest, obviously on the tanks. With bm ccr I use bungee to help secure mavs and whatnot on my harness instead of innertube material. Easier to replace and you can adjust. I also dove sm bailout for a long time, so needed bungee on my harness like in sm for the bailouts. Now I'm mostly onbaord bailout 50s with stages. So way less need for bungee.
But yes, I'm a bungee whore because it has tons of uses around the house too
