D.I.M.W.I.T. = Diving In Murky Water In Texas?

I have already bought my styrofoam cups to bring down this weekend! :D I've been dying to this u/w experiment forever. Do they crush at 30 or do you have to go deeper for an effect?

Anyways, this probably means I am an Underwater Nerd diver?
:lotsalove:

Being a ex- US Navy Submariner, we would do the demonstration in the escape hatch with a cup we put in there at the beginning of the patrol and then take out at the end of a patrol underwater.

The cup would shrink to a minature size for dolls to use. You will not have that much pressure at recreational NDL of 130 feet. Maybe 1/2 size.

Have fun with the experiment and have FUN diving.

D.I.M.W.I.T. = Diving In Murky Water In Texas?

I thought D.I.M.W.I.T. stood for "Doing It My Way In Texas". When did the usurpers subvert the true meaning? Although this one is not too far off either.
